Last 2 years Lemmy only. Sure, it’s not as active as Reddit, but that’s probably a good thing. If you run out of content on “active”, look at “hot”, and maybe “new”…

Though two of the benches were quickly removed, users were appreciative.
Benches could provide a brief moment of respite from chronic pain, fatigue, pregnancy, homelessness, etc… They certainly can’t allow that! Seriously, fuck the people that decided to remove these.
What, just because they’re making it clear it’s not “protect & serve”, but instead “us vs. them”?
It’s The Coward’s Swastika ". Pretty much anyone who flies it is racist and a bootlicker. They’re just afraid to fly the Nazi or Confederate flag…
Why so high a demand!? Even the US only spent 3.38% last year, and Poland spent 4.12%:
Let’s see, a war to distract from an unpopular Republican president. We’ve never seen that before…
…unless it’s made by Nintendo.
It can’t do less than nothing. Which is what you’re advocating.
Obviously it’s different with every store management/owner, but any decent store would never ban you or try to press charges for missing one item, especially if it’s obviously a mistake.
Also, leaving a cart in the parking lot does not impact the store at all, you’re simply punishing that kid for no reason. A simple call, email, review, or social media comment is much more impactful because it actually reaches the decision-makers…
What a shitty store. I use self-checkout 99% of the time, but you should have a choice and the store should always accommodate at least one of each. Scanning an entire cart full of groceries is painful for you, the employee correcting the machine, and the people behind you.
A 1970’s law saying it’s a felony if people steal more than $199 (cumulatively) is insane. How many for-profit prisons are in New Jersey again…?
FYI, this is currently happening with Uber.
Personally, I did not come when RiF was dead. It was too sad…
This is exactly when and why I stopped using Reddit permanently and switched to Lemmy. If you run out of “Active” content here, try switching to “Hot”. And then “New”!
That was not wholesome. 🙁
I’m gonna need a source for that.
Damn, are you me!? But I don’t remember writing this comment…
Try and stop me!
